Stabilized Wood
Stabilized wood is a remarkable material achieved by saturating it with a specially formulated chemical stabilizing solution. This process imbues the wood with unique qualities, allowing it to be processed using standard woodworking tools.
The primary objective of stabilizing wood is to enhance its durability and mitigate common issues such as warping or cracking, thus transforming it into a reliable and long-lasting resource.
The remarkable aspect of closed cell stabilized materials is their safety for use in contact with food. This safety feature makes them an ideal choice for a wide range of culinary applications, as they are impervious to any harmful chemical leaching or contamination concerns. Whether crafting kitchen utensils, cutting boards, or other culinary implements, closed cell stabilized wood ensures both functionality and food safety
Fossiled Woolly Mammoth Ivory
Behold, the extraordinary realm of genuine mammoth fossils, a precious relic from the depths of history that reaches back to the last ice age, spanning a staggering 20,000 to 100,000 years before the present day. The sheer antiquity of this material alone renders it a true marvel of the natural world. Yet, it possesses an innate ability to elevate the exceptional to the realm of the truly unique.
100,000 Year Old Hot Springs
Natural hot springs, minerals deposited over eons, stabilised it in different colours A limited edition material with unique textures and beautiful contrasts that can be processed with normal woodworking equipment. Each block is unique.
Carbon Fibre
Carbon Fiber is a polymer and is sometimes known as graphite fiber.r is made of thin, strong crystalline filaments of carbon that is used to strengthen material. Carbon fiber can be thinner than a strand of human hair and gets its strength when twisted together like yarn. These materials repersent the highest grade carbon on earth. They look even better when paired with Turbo glow.
Inlace
The pearlescent allure of this material is nothing short of captivating, revealing a mesmerizing depth and iridescence that dances with brilliance when illuminated. Inlace, a distinctive composition, is crafted from finely powdered stone meticulously fused together with Acrylester, resulting in a resplendent, durable substance that excels in both form and function.
What sets Inlace apart is its remarkable resilience, making it a sturdy choice that endures the test of time. Beyond its robust nature, it boasts a subtle yet essential feature: a micro grip, which imparts an invaluable quality that sets it apart from typical synthetic materials. This subtle texture offers enhanced traction, mitigating the slipperiness often associated with synthetic alternatives. Inlace not only stands as a testament to its visual allure but also champions practicality, ensuring both visual and tactile satisfaction for those who choose to work with or enjoy its unique properties.
Kirinite
Kirinite™ is a versatile, innovative acrylic sheet material that is bringing new excitement to an ever-increasing variety of products. Kirinite comes in a wide array of alluring colors and patterns, but there’s a lot more to Kirinite than just dazzling colors:
- Kirinite is remarkably durable…it resists chipping, cracking, warping, and shrinking
- Kirinite responds well to shaping, grinding, sanding, and buffing
- Kirinite can be buffed to a high-gloss finish, but never feels slippery in the hand…even when wet
- Kirinite is created using a single-batch process, so each piece is totally unique
Dichrolam
Dichrolam is the highest tech, most optically complex, most visually dynamic and viewer interactive composite laminate in the world. It is what the gemstone opal would look like in sheet form. It has a depth and colour array unlike any material we have seen before.
This material is comprised of over nine different polymer layers laminated in three separate proprietary lamination steps with a clear resin over the top which brings out the incredible colours. It has a metallic appearance and appears to change colours as you look at it from different angles.
Juma
JUMA is a high grade, modern raw material for the manufacture of components and works of art. JUMA consists of a mixture of different mineral base materials compounded with a resin component.
The essential characteristics of JUMA are:
- excellent mechanical machinability i.e. for drilling, milling, grinding and polishing,
- minimum breakage risk due to high coefficient of elasticity and high elongation,
- high-quality surface due to high surface hardness and minimal abrasion losses,
- resistant to all conventional substances such as cleaning agents, oils, greases, weak / medium acids and bases,
- very low water absorption (hydrolysis resistant). – possibility of thermal moulding in boiling water,
- can be polished or lacquer coated to manufacture polished or matt surfaces,
- pleasant to the touch due to good thermal properties.
G10
G10 is made from a Glass fibre lattice impregnated with an epoxy resin binder. It has extremely high mechanical strength it is widely considered to be the most robust material available, it offers a slight texture when finished offering more grip over other synthetic materials, it also lends it self to being textured further.
Due to the available thickness of these materials some colours will require liners.
Micarta
Micarta is made from fabrics such as canvas, paper, linen, carbon fibre, fibreglass, and other thermoplastic fibres. Micarta is ideal for knives used outdoors as it’s an inorganic microporous material, making it waterproof. The fact that it is waterproof is one of the number one reasons why Micarta is so popular. Micarta is also one of the most stable and toughest of all materials, making it a great choice for hard-working knives or tools that will see a range of environments, such as extreme cold or wet.
Turbo glow
UV Glow in the dark resin, used as liners or full handles when paired with other materials.

EDM Mosaic pins
The EDM Mosaic is an intricately designed metal tube that incorporates a central feature of steel or brass, running the entire tube length, and then backfilled with a coloured epoxy resin.
It’s important to note that, despite the versatility of the EDM Mosaic, there are considerations for specific knife models. Some knives may not be compatible with the standard 10mm pins associated with the EDM Mosaic, and users should be mindful of these specifications when selecting or customizing their knives.
